They've spent a lot of time and effort to make us afraid of Africa, but I found so many people from here living in Rwanda. Land owners, home owners, business owners. The weather was like the islands. The majority of parliament is comprised of women. No matter where I went, no matter how fancy or expensive, I was never in the minority as a black person. It felt so good!
